| LMFAO - Party Rock Anthem
Featuring Lauren Bennett, GoonRock Al primo posto della top 40 Britannica questa settimana troviamo i LMFAO con Party Rock Anthem.
Si tratta di un duo electro-hop americano formatosi nel 2006 a Los Angeles, California, dal connubio artistico tra il rapper e DJs Redfoo (Stefan Kendal Gordy, nato il 3 settembre 1975 ) e SkyBlu (Skyler Gordy, nato il 23 agosto 1986).
L'Electro-Hop è un nuovo genere musicale di tendenza che mescola la musica HipHop con il beat aggressivo della musica Electro (la musica che sta pian piano facendo morire la House Music tradizionale).
Si chiamano LMFAO (Redfoo, Sky Blu), ed “I’m In Miami Bi**h”. Loro sono sia rapper che DJ di successo californiani!
 Sono rispettivamente il figlio e il nipote di Berry Gordy, fondatore della celeberrima etichetta Motown.
Il loro primo singolo è stato "I'm in Miami Bitch" pubblicato nel dicembre 2008 e hanno penetrato la hot100 della "Bibbia" dei giornali specialistici musicali americani, ovvero Billboard.
Il loro primo album è datato 2009 ed hanno mischiato perfettamente l’attitudine da party della musica HipHop con le sonorità più dure e bizzarre della musica elettronica. Ora ci riprovano con un nuovo progetto, ed il primo estratto è “Party Rock Anthem” insieme a Lauren Bennett e Goon Rock.
Il pezzo vira decisamente verso una produzione più commerciale e radio friendly rispetto al loro lavoro passato.
Molta della loro musica è un inno alla gioia di ballare, fare festa e bere, mentre il gruppo chiamo il proprio stile musicale "party rock", da cui anche il nome del loro sito personale.
